LFI CompTIA Authorized Academy Partner

LFI And KTU Partner With CompTIA

AT KTU we’ve found that partnerships are essential in providing an affordable yet complete academic experience.  We’re happy to announce that the Leffler Foundation Inc, the sole member or shareholder of Kentucky Technical University Corporation, a 501c3 nonprofit has been approved as an Authorized Academy Partner with CompTIA.  This partnership lowers the expense for exam vouchers making our goals more attainable.

Many of our courses overlap CompTIA’s certifications and that is on purpose.  Students may self study for the exams or if they are confident in their ability they can schedule the exam for the next available slot.  Exams are proctored and completed by a third party testing center.  Passing the certification exam means earning the CompTIA certificate but also earns the student the college credit hours associated with that exam and its corresponding KTU course.

We are excited to be able to offer these exams to more of our students than we may have been able too without this partnership.

CompTIA IFT+, A+, Network+ and Security+ are core foundational certificates KTU students will earn early on in their programs.  Additionally CompTIA offers certifications and we offer credit for the following certificates.

Server+, Cloud Essentials+, Linux+ , CTT+ and Project+

We’re excited to have established this awesome connection to such an industry respected organization.
